After 31 years in the United States, I find myself more American than I ever expected to be, yet not so American in many ways.

Loooking at my blog stats . . .
. . . I noticed this entry for last night:
Maybe someone at the Department of Homeland Security was just bored at work on a Sunday evening? No returning visits (yet!) and they didn't stop around for long!
You'd think if these sort of Expat blogs are being watched it would be done in a way so you wouldn't know you were being watched. I'm sure it's all fairly innocuous - although that isn't half as exciting.
I happen to know for sure that there is all kinds of electronic surveillance going on that most people are completely oblivious to - but it's definitely not as obvious as someone from the Department of Homeland Security visiting my blog! I wish I could blog about how I know, but it's not my story to tell. And I'm not really paranoid about it as I have nothing to hide. I'm just always entertained by seeing people visit here who should probably be working!
It wouldn't surprise me at all if we were being watched!
ReplyDeleteBTW - your Pond Parleys prize has been mailed.
A little spooky! I wonder if your blog is on a list of possibly anti-American topics as in being "almost" American is not American enough?
