I'm very glad I don't live somewhere that gets REALLY cold in the winter - the kind of place where you have to plug an engine block heater in to make sure your car's engine will start in the morning!
P.S. Did you notice the inconsistency in those screen shots - the temp. was minus 10, but the weather forecast was still for a low for the day of 17. My maths is bad, but isn't that a 27 degree difference? Quite an error margin!

Weird weather here. Heavy snow overnight, then slush and flooding the following day!

It actually warmed up to 29˚F (minus 2˚C) this afternoon! Still wearing the long underwear though :-)
That's what I get for feeling smug about the south being colder than the northeast last week!
You know you're used to it when you check the temp before you go out, see it's 28°F and think a sweatshirt will do.

Yes, you're right NVG - it's only 19˚F at almost 2 pm. More snow (5 to 10 inches) forecast for tomorrow.
It was -16C (3F) here yesterday, so quite toasty in comparison to you! Still, it gave me a chance to wander around in my Union Jack scarf! :D
