I believe bikes are used in a few towns as rapid response vehicles because they can get through the traffic faster than a car.
After 31 years in the United States, I find myself more American than I ever expected to be, yet not so American in many ways.

What a brilliant idea. Must be quite difficult to stay upright with all that stuff attached to it though
When Greg was taken ill once in the past, we had a motorbike ambulance turn up at the house too.
I bet they don't struggle with all the speed bumps so much either!
I must say you are quite witty.. And you had suggested a very good alternate to manage traffic problem. :)
